The gaming industry has and continues to evolve constantly. Throughout the years we’ve seen games like the pixel generated sonic the hedgehog on the Sega mega drive become sonic adventures 3 on the ps3 with amazing graphics and faster game play. We’ve seen super Mario bros on the Nintendo turn into Mario sunshine. As the gaming industry is advancing technologically with the arrival of new powerful consoles that are now able to store millions of polys and information on screen, the pressure on developers is rising also as developers now will have to work twice as hard to provide gamers with not just a “game” but a next gen-experience. In order to do this developers are now finding ways to give gamers that experience with multiple techniques such as, improve the lighting and graphics, change the camera angle so that the gamer feels as if they are right there with the character and so fourth. So developers will have to “up their game” substantially and also up the start raising their budgets if they want to stay and compete with this generation’s super consoles. Also we have the arrival of unorthodox consoles like the wii in which developers will have to be a lot more accurate and specific about how they work whilst trying to cater for the wii’s unconventional features. Jeez how the industry has changed!
I believe as a future employee and hopefully games designer ;) that this is a chance for me to go all out! Rather then restricting myself to the requirements of an n64 or ps2 I can now work more intricately and more in depth now that the likes of the playstation 3 and 360 are around, which is the way I prefer it.

The art of blogging
I personally see blogging as less objective and more personal as the creator can express views and opinions in a more relaxed manner, rather then write as if somebody is holding a gun to their head. It’s kind of like forums except with much more options and freedom. I will most definitely find blogging helpful especially to an invisible audience mainly because I’m a reserved guy and it’s a chance for me to break my silence and get my project known. So yeah writing to an invisible audience is ideal for me and it has advantages. Like for example I can elaborate much more on certain aspects and the viewer has to sit and read MWA HAHAHA!! Just kidding you can always press the X button and close the window but you know what I mean. Thanks for reading people and good day. Oh and remember to check out ://ben187.deviantart.com/.
